Student Counseling Services
UMMC Student Counseling Services (SCS) mission is to promote the mental health and wellness of UMMC students across all degree programs. To support this mission, we provide evidence-based mental healthcare for a wide range of mental health concerns. Our work at the SCS is tailored to each individual student as they work toward their academic and career goals at UMMC. Critical to this mission is our desire to create a welcoming atmosphere for all students by respecting and affirming individual and cultural differences.
If you are a new or returning client, please contact us at scs@umc.edu or (601) 815-4971 to make an appointment or to consult with a counselor.
For more information about SCS appointments, appointment forms, and our no show and cancellation policy, please refer to our student manual.
